Another largely accurate forecast from the Met Club this week. Friday was predicted perfectly and Saturday was correct too with the exception of the wind, which was fairly breezy.
Sunday, the troublesome third day was a little inaccurate. Although it was much cooler as predicted, and the winds got up, it didn't rain overnight and develop into a fine day. The rain came in the afternoon in the form of sporadic wintry showers and a downpour at teatime. Following that it was cool, calm and clear.
Look out for a cold week as the pressure systems drag air down from the north. Whilst northerly parts of the UK will experience some snow, I fear it will only be rain on the Isle of Wight.
